“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” - Helen Keller
Volunteers come to Habitat from every segment of our community. You can volunteer as an individual, with a group from your workplace, family, neighborhood, school, community organization or faith community. Habitat needs volunteers with special interests and skills. However, many of our build volunteers are inexperienced and interested in learning on the job. We have experienced volunteer builders who look forward to teaching and helping you become an experienced volunteer.
All volunteers, must first register through our Volunteer Matrix site. You will create your own user name and password. You will be able to see all of the volunteer opportunities available throughout the affiliate and schedule yourself or a group. You will receive reminder e-mails and you may even cancel your shift if you are unable to make it. This tool will also help us to track volunteer hours, keep critical emergency contact information easily accessible and track anniversary dates of required release waiver information. This is a great tool and will allow us to improved communication with the very critical component of Mecosta County Habitat for Humanity--our VOLUNTEERS! Please register today!
