What is a ReStore?

Retail with a mission

The Mecosta County Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells new and gently-used building materials and home improvement products to the community at discounted prices. ReStore proceeds go to Mecosta County Habitat to help build homes for qualified Habitat home buyers. 

Renovating your house? Replacing an appliance? Reupholstering a chair? Reusing old materials in creative ways? Shop ReStore. You never know what you’ll find in our ReStore’s constantly changing inventory.

We accept donations from individuals, businesses and organizations to help keep reusable items out of landfills and provide funding to our Mecosta County Habitat for Humanity programs.

All donations are accepted during normal business hours. If your donation is too large, schedule your pick up today!

Restore Volunteer

Volunteering with our ReStore is a simple way that you can support Mecosta County Habitat. Volunteers may be needed for prepping items, stocking shelves, assisting customers, loading trucks, picking up donated material and more. VOLUNTEER TODAY!

Items we accept include: Appliances, Cabinets, Doors, Electrical Supplies, Fasteners, Furniture, Hardware, Housewares, Flat-screen TVs, Lighting, Lumber, Plumbing, Reclaimed Wood, Supplies, Tile, Tools, Books/CDs/VHS/DVDs/cassettes, Upholstery, Wallpaper, Windows, flooring and more!

Items Not accepted

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept: broken furniture, anything NOT working, broken appliances, paint of any kind, box springs and mattresses, baby furniture, broken glass, Pianos/organs, non-flatscreen TVs/CRT monitors, tires, and clothing
